DJ Tecknique’s trademark mash-up sounds (remixing) coupled with his unique ability to combine the qualities of vinyl with the latest advances in DJ software have made him more than the typical Hip hop and House DJ. Instead, his abilities have made him one of the most sought after talents in the Chicago land area.

Since focusing all of his efforts on his DJ career in 2005, DJ Tecknique, a Chicago native, has earned residencies and performances at some of Chicago’s top clubs, hot spots, and sport venues. For the last three years, DJ Tecknique has served as the House Resident DJ at Sound Bar, which is the top club in Chicago and is among the top-rated clubs in the country. DJ Tecknique is also a resident at The Captain Morgan Club at Chicago’s historic Wrigley Field, Oak Street Beach, and the College Marketplace at UIC bar/venues & events.

In addition to his raw skills in mash-up and his unique understanding of vinyl and DJ software, DJ Tecknique is sought after for what matters most to nearly all club managers and club patrons: the innate ability to move and liven-up any crowd.

While DJ Tecknique has already established himself as one of the top talents in the Chicago land area, he is looking forward to increasing his exposure and growing as a performer.
